In Year 4's next Iron Man inspired Art lesson, the children experimented with simple ink washes to shade in their pictures.
We used black ink pens and a paintbrush and some water. We experimented with the thickness of our lines and the amount of water we used, before creating our own Iron Man pictures.

Mission Grooooooooves....it's all about the bass, 'bout the bass....
We do a lot more than just visual Art at MG - there's loads of drama & dance activities and lots and lots of music. During Enrichment, Mr Neo's Year 5 & 6 group have been creating their own GarageBand tunes.

Applicious!
Year 1's topic is Food Glorious Food, so we started our Art work, looking at the humble apple.
First we practised drawing an 'alphabet apple', using the shapes of different letters to try and make our apples look realistic.
Then we drew our apples on A5 paper, shading them in using colouring pencils, to try and show the different colours of an apple. Some of us tried to show light reflecting on our apples.
Our finished bowls of fruit.....
