Getting Fruity (AND Vegetably!)

So what do you think Year 1 are getting up to this week? 

This was before the lessons.....

First we practised drawing bowls of fruit - remembering that fruit doesn't fly and getting it to sit in or on our bowls.

Rose was particularly proud of her fruit bowl!

This was at the end of the lessons!

And this is what we did. Having learnt about Primary Colours, we used them to create fruit and vegetable prints.....

....which were finally cut out and made into fruit and vegetable bowl pictures to go up in class and remind us which colours are our Primary Colours.

When we weren't printing we were drawing and colouring our own fruit bowls.

With any of the prints that we had left over we made our own fruit and vegetable heads like these:
