First we thought of what sea creature we'd like to draw, either with the help of some pictures or from our imaginations. We practised drawing a variety of different creatures on our rough paper before choosing our favourite.
Then they drew them - LARGE, using Sharpies to go over out pencil lines, so we could see really clearly where we had to paint.
Finally we painted as carefully as we could!
Now all our sea creatures are cut out and waiting for us to do some backgrounds for them to live in this week...sea creatures looking for a home...
