Harry, Our Rockin' Robin!

This week's lesson was devoted to our resident Mission Grove robin - Harry! But first we warmed up by remembering all the different things we had tried over this half term: v-trees, bark patterns, spirals, leaves and the Stickman.

Then we had a quick quiz to see what we had remembered about Andy Goldsworthy - answer: ALOT!! Year 1 really are Andy Goldsworthy experts!!

Finally we met and practised drawing Harry and some of his relatives!

Rose and Mr Saunders were very pleased with their robins!

Mr Saunders robin family were  particularly festive

We created some wintry scenes for Harry and his family, which we are going to make into cards, using pencil and colouring pencils. We might go over our lines with a thin black pen afterwards to make them stand out more.
