Ready TEDDY Go.......collage!

This week in Year 1 we continued with the theme of teddies as part of our Toys topic, but instead of drawing or painting them we created some teddy collages.

First we looked at some of the newspaper collage work of Denise Fielder, before taking up Paddington's challenge to create some teddy collages of our own. We used newspaper,black sugar paper, glue and a black Sharpie. 

They were fiddly, and some of us needed a bit of help with the eyes, which were EXTRA fiddly, but we all had a good go and made Paddington proud. He is considering opening a Teddy themed Art Gallery, where you pay him in jars of marmalade to see the exhibition!
