St James Regeneration Project - The Exhibition!

Year 5, rounded off all their work linked to the St James Regeneration project by hosting an exhibition at school, showcasing all they had learnt, their thoughts and ideas on Walthamstow and accompanying Art work. There were some representatives of the Local Authority, Governors and parents there to view the work the children had done at school and at home - some of which had been previously displayed at The Mill.

Here are some close-ups of some of their great models representing different parts of Walthamstow.

Some of our favourite places in Walthamstow and why....

(Glad to see the William Morris gallery is a favourite!!)

They also thought about, future Walthamstow, designing some of the buildings to make them more eoc-friendly (naturally they used recycled eco-friendly materials to construct them!!)

They also displayed their Coats of Arms, which they did right at the start of the project - refresh your memory of them on our Awesome-Stow Page
