Exhibition Time!

The whole school is busy getting ready for our Art Exhibition - 4th - 6th July. The paint dryers were working overtime as all the children got their pieces ready.

Here's a taster.....but try and see the exhibition with our professionally framed masterpieces on North Site (all day and after school in the Year 6 block on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th July) South Site (all day and after school on Thursday 6th July)
Your child's artwork will be available to buy!
Invest now - could be worth a fortune when
they're famous in the future!

Year 6 chose a variety of different art styles, techniques and subjects that they liked for their inspiration.

Some very intricate work from Year 5, based on Viking designs.

Year 4 went all pop-art, inspired by the work of Brazilian artist Romero Britto.

Year 3 celebrated London with some iconic cityscape pictures.

While some Year 3's found their inner Patrick Caulfield!

Year 2 were inspired by a variety of different ideas, these particular children discovered their inner Picasso!

Year 1 stayed Under The Sea, taking inspiration from their current topic.

Here are some Reception children's self portraits which are placed on a printed pattern background they did in paint.

Nursery and the Two Year Olds had already gone for framing, so their artistic efforts will remain a total surprise!

Please come along and check out the fantastic talent we have at MG - and remember buying art is ALWAYS an investment!
