Year 1 'dived' straight into their new Under The Sea topic this week. First they draws many sea creatures as they could as a warm up - some of them also drew other things that they thought they might find under the sea as well.
Then we met Nemo and had a quick practice at drawing him - a clownfish - as well as some other creatures.
Finally, we choose a creature we liked, drew in on A4 paper, colouring it as well as the sea bed, seaweed and any coral in with oil pastels, before painting a blue sea paint wash over it.
All these look quite cute - check back next week for some SCARY fish pictures.....
