Magic CityScapes

Year 3 kicked off their new London topic by looking at cityscapes.

This is how we did it.

First get a piece of A4 sugar paper or cartridge paper - you can have it portrait or landscape. The latter is probably better, but we had a very particular place that our pictures are going to be displayed, so did ours portrait.

Fold your paper in half and apply a rainbow of chalk lines.










Go over this with either a yellow or orange wax crayon first and then a black wax crayon.






 Fold your paper over so the chalk and wax crayon are inside and using a sharp pencil draw your picture on the front - pressing quite hard. Open it up and your magic day/night cityscape awaits!
