Zentangle Teddies

To finish off their work on teddies, Year 1 tried their own Zentangle ones. A Zentangle is a doodle-like picture, where you split an image into sections. Each section has a different pattern and is usually completed in black and white.

The children had a go on their whiteboards:

The children then drew a simple teddy outline in pencil, before going over it with a black felt pen, filling in their different sections with some great patterns. They didn't quite finish them, so took them home to complete them there.

Rose nipped around, getting all the best ideas from the children to start her own one!
