The Stickman's Favourite Artist - Andy Goldsworthy!

As Year 1 will soon be looking at Stickman as part of their topic work, we decided to look at his favourite artist.......

For our warm up we drew trees, woods and forests, that we thought the Stickman would like.

Then we practised drawing different types of leaves.....

....before restarted looking at and discussing the work of Andy Goldsworthy.

We all agreed we needed some natural materials to start our art, so headed off to the wildlife area and foraged for goodies.....

Bags and trays filled, we headed back inside to start our first Andy Goldsworthy inspired masterpieces! 

We worked with our partners to create our own temporary pieces of art in the hall.
