Art at MG

At Mission Grove Primary School  we believe in developing the children’s skills creatively as well as academically, so we ensure that Art is at the heart of much of the work we do. 

Through their Art and Music lessons; their Thursday afternoon Enrichment activities; their visits to art galleries, concerts, theatres, exhibitions and museums; their after school clubs, as well as their everyday activities the children get to experience a VERY creative curriculum.


There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the look of joy and sense of pride when a child has his or her artwork on display, or performs before an audience, or begins to see their world little differently through their experiences. This blog will aim to showcase some of their work and demonstrate what a talented bunch of children we are privileged to work with....

It will be a little retrospective to begin with as we have quite a few Adventures in Art to catch up with from last year....
