Year 1 Art Club - Look what 'weave' been doing!

The new bunch of Year 1 Art enthusiasts have started in their Summer Term After School Club. Their first project is to create a woven garden, which will eventually go outside as a permanent piece of Art work to brighten up the playground.
Using some wire netting they are carefully weaving flowers, before adding some stems. It's tricky, but our MG Year 1's are up for the challenge!!

When they aren't weaving the children are developing and honing their cutting and sticking skills, by creating some ladybird finger puppets as well as completing some careful, intricate colouring to help their fine motor skills.

They all worked really independently, choosing what activity to do when and for how long. Fantastic work all of you!!
