What's The Point(illsm)!

This week Year 3 moved on to looking at another famous artist - Seurat. We discussed a variety of his most famous pictures, telling the story behind them and describing what we could see before we looked at his technique of 'pointillism' in detail.

Instead of doing a typical Seurat landscape, we returned to our theme of apples, fitting in with our prior work on Cezanne and complementing our topic work on You Are What You Eat.

We realised it takes a long time to build up a pointillist picture, even using coloured markers.
