.... Year 3 stopped thinking in 2D and started thinking 3D. We explored the idea of 'form' by looking at the sculpture work of Alberto Giacometti before creating our own tinfoil figures in a variety of poses.
This involved some careful measuring, cutting, folding and 'scrunching'......
.... until eventually we created our own 'Movement City'
In Monday's afterschool Art club, they have created a life-size moveable figure from cardboard. He is now a permanent resident in the Art Cabin - here he is in his favourite chair!!
