We have linked it to the stencil style art of the Stone Age.
As well as our previous Get Moving topic work.
Year 3 classes have tried out different ideas in a range of different materials using different techniques.
First we played some warm-up games to introduce us to his style of drawing.
Then we looked more closely at his work, learning a little more about his life and influences - recreating some of our favourites in our sketchbooks.
Some classes went on to large and small paintings inspired by Keith Haring.
While some of us focused on a pose, using this as a basis of a 'stencil' that we drew in chalk, shading around it with oil pastels.
Finally we added white lines to add to the sense of movement!
