Creature Creation!

As part of their topic on Authors and Illustrators, Year 2 focused on the work of Graeme Base.

Having read some of his books, they particularly liked the imaginary creatures that he created.

So Kinglet Class set about creating their own, working out their ideas in their sketchbooks, before painting them on a larger scale. They were all very imaginative - each of their creatures had a name and quite an elaborate backstory!
