As part of their topic on Ancient Greece, Year 5 have been creating tragedy and comedy masks.
They looked at the history and purpose of the masks, before creating their own.
They first used card to cut out their mask shapes. They used scrunched up newspaper to raise certain areas before covering it all in a layer of modroc. Finally they painted over it in metallic paint.
Here they are showing their masks and the expressions they represented!
